- Georeference
Start a project without Georeference:
Once you have filled in the mandatory fields and clicked Save, you will be able to start working with virto.CAD.
Start a project with Georeference:
If you want to geographically reference your project, click the Set Georeference button.
You will now be prompted to the Geolocation feature available in Autocad.
In the Geographic Location window, enter the coordinates or address of your project’s location.
Confirm the location (Drop marker) and click Next.
A list of Coordinate Systems will appear. Select one from the options, choose the appropriate Time Zone and click Next.
Now, in the AutoCAD drafting area, specify the reference point (default is 0,0,0). Then, indicate the North direction (default is 90 degrees).
The Project Specifications window will reappear, and the coordinates will be applied.
Click Save to georeference your project.
You can edit or remove the georeference at any time from the AutoCAD Geolocation tab.
