Adjust thermal breaks

Move, add, or remove thermal breaks so module fields better match technical, access, and visual requirements.

Thermal breaks divide a large layout into separate fields. Their position can help keep obstacles accessible, avoid narrow or impractical module groups, reduce concentrated roof loads, and improve the appearance of the final proposal.

Adjust the breaks

  1. Open Module Layout and select the relevant surface or field.
  2. Open the thermal-break controls for the selected configuration.
  3. Review the automatically generated break positions.
  4. Remove the poorly positioned thermal break and add it to a more suitable row or column.

  5. Confirm the change and inspect the resulting fields in 2D and 3D. Check that the adjusted layout:
  • Keeps required access routes and obstacles clear.
  • Avoids very small fields that add complexity without meaningful capacity.
  • Preserves mounting-system spacing and project clearances.
  • Remains visually clear in the report and interactive 3D view.
