Export to Virto.CAD and PVsyst

Continue the approved concept in detailed engineering or advanced yield software without recreating the project from scratch.

Open the export menu

From any tab in the results step, select Export in the main bar at the top right.

Export to Virto.CAD or another CAD workflow

  1. Select the Virto.CAD or DWG export. The download of the .DWG file will start.
  2. Open it in Virto.CAD, AutoCAD, or BricsCAD.
  3. When the model is not immediately visible, use the CAD application’s zoom-extents function.
  4. Continue with detailed layout, electrical, mounting, or documentation work.

Export to PVsyst

  1. Select the PVsyst export. The download of the PVC file will start.
  2. Open or import the file in PVsyst.
  3. Review the transferred geometry, orientation, and shading information before continuing the advanced simulation.

Good to know: The export preserves project work and reduces manual re-entry. Always validate the imported model and simulation assumptions in the destination application because the tools serve different stages and levels of detail.
