Simulate shadow

Visualise shadow on the project for a selected date and time range and identify modules that may be affected.

Run the simulation

  1. Open the shadow settings and enable Shadow simulation.
  2. Select the simulation date.
  3. Set a time range between sunrise and sunset.
  4. Run or preview the simulation in the 3D model.
  5. Review the shaded roof and module areas.

Remove shaded modules

Enable Shaded panel removal when modules in the selected shadow condition should be removed automatically. Review the proposed removal before accepting it, especially when a temporary or seasonal shadow should not determine the complete design. You can undo the panel removal by using the undo button or shortcut.
