Platform Support
● AutoCAD 2027 support is added in this new release
● VirtoCAD 2.2.0 was developed and tested with:
o AutoCAD 2026 (recommended)

NEW FEATURES
● Site palette for Location and Terrain
Manage site location, KML/KMZ data, satellite imagery and terrain from a dedicated Site
palette. Convert contour lines to a TIN mesh and select your default active terrain layer.
● Site slope analysis
Analyse and visualize terrain slope angle and slope direction directly on your drawing, making
challenging sites easier to asses before layout starts.
● BESS component
Add BESS equipment to the project during civil planning and cable routing and manage it
through the component database as part of the system design workflow.
● New Insert devices palette
New dedicated palette and interface that allows you place large electrical equipment early
during site planning.
● New cable routing workflow
Route cables for your entire project or for a specific device with our new routing logic and
improved cable path controls. Coming to roof projects in the near future.
● Custom pile grouping
Create configurable piling groups and add them to your BOM for purchasing and construction.
All pile data for each location is expanded with group identifier and corrected depth via
summary export.
● Pile reveal analysis
Visualize pile reveal height together with leading-edge ground clearance to evaluate terrain
effects and installation constraints in greater detail.
● Rack and pile optimization functions
Use new correction tools for rack placement optimization. Adjust your rack height (Z) position
manually our automatic while retaining the rack XY position.
● VirtoLIVE export
Publish VirtoCAD projects to VirtoLIVE for 3D viewing and easier project sharing.
IMPROVEMENTS
● Avasco report language default
New Avasco reports now default to English instead of undefined
● Updated VirtoCAD branding
The application now uses new teal accent colour to match Virto branding guidelines
● Pile keep-out zone visualization
Define and display keep-out zones around piles while drawing cable paths, helping users
identify routing constraints earlier.
● Maximum system voltage validation
Automatic system configuration now checks that the preferred string length does not exceed
the maximum system voltage
● Site coordinates prefilled
When site coordinates are available, they are automatically prefilled in the ballast calculation
project window.
● Updated installer process
Upgraded installer reliability together with new linked online Privacy policy and End User
license agreement. The installer now also checks for the required .NET10 Desktop runtime and
will ask you to install it during setup.
BUG FIXES
● Fixed an issue with the ‘save as default’ for string labelling
● Fixed an issue where re-labelling strings could shift their placement in the drawing.
● Fixed East and West strings being swapped during semi-automatic string mapping.
