Adjust views and perspectives

Change the view

1. Open the view controls in the side panel.
2. Switch between 2D and 3D.
3. Select a standard perspective such as top, front, side, or isometric when available.
4. Use zoom, pan, rotate and orbit to inspect the required area.
5. Use the fit-to-project or focus action to bring the model back into view.

Choose the right view

• Use 2D/top view for drawing accurate outlines, selecting edges, and aligning layouts.
• Use 3D/isometric view for checking heights, slopes, obstacles, shadows, and presentation quality.
• Use front or side views to inspect vertical relationships, roof slopes, carport clearance, and component placement.

Good to know: When selection is difficult in 3D, switch to a standard view or use the object tree. Return to a clean 3D view before choosing a report cover image or publishing a project.
