Summary

The summary palette shows all project details

In the summary palette you can find project details like.

  • Module amounts per group
  • Rack amounts per type
  • Inverter totals and details
  • Cable lengths, sizes and voltage drop
  • Pile lengths and coordinates
  • Layout details

The summary can be opened by pressing this "Summary" button.

Module amounts

The modules section provides comprehensive details about the modules installed in your project. You have the flexibility to customize the display by selecting either a horizontal or vertical layout, and you can also apply color coding based on the specific wiring groups utilized in your electrical design.

Furthermore you can access a settings tab that allows you to toggle various details on or off, enabling you to customize your view according to your preferences. Additionally, the tolerance setting helps you group modules that have similar azimuth or tilt angles for better organization and analysis.

You can easily export this view to Excel by clicking the Export.xls button. After selecting your desired save location, simply click Save to complete the process.

This view can also be seamlessly integrated into your drawing for enhanced visualization and planning.

Racks

The racks section provides comprehensive details about the rack systems installed in your project. You have the flexibility to customize the display by selecting either a horizontal or vertical layout, and you can also apply color coding per rack type.

You can also access a settings tab that allows you to toggle various details on or off, enabling you to customize your view according to your preferences.

The same options of exporting to excel and inserting into the project apply here as demonstrated for the module section.

Inverters

The Inverters section provides all details about the devices installed in your project. You have the flexibility to customize the display by selecting either a horizontal or vertical layout.

You can also access a settings tab that allows you to toggle various details on or off, enabling you to customize your view according to your preferences.

Cables

The cables section offers detailed information regarding both DC and AC cables utilized in your project. You have the option to adjust cable sizes, allowing you to assess how these changes affect voltage drop.

For AC cables, only the lengths are provided, while for DC cables, both the cable size and the associated voltage drop are calculated to ensure optimal performance.

More information on calculating cables can be found here:

The results for cables can also be exported to Excel, providing additional insights such as the individual lengths of positive, negative, and interconnection cables, as well as the formulas used to calculate voltage drop.

Piles (ground mount and carports)

The piles section provides in-depth information about the lengths and depths of piles used in your project. You can view these details organized by rack, allowing for easy identification and highlighting within the project. Additionally, the total quantity of steel required is displayed, facilitating accurate cost estimations.

Additionally each pile can be labeled.

More info about setting up piles can be found here

The excel export also offers the coordinates for every pile on the project which is determined by your chosen coordinate system.
